The dietary supplements for enhancing sexual performance contain chemicals that have the FDA say have no guarantee of safety, effectiveness, or purity. The chemicals can lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. The undeclared chemicals are similar or identical to the active ingredients used in several FDA-approved prescription drug products. They can interact with medications that someone may already be on.
