Niacin (nicotinamide)
Niacin is found in oatmeal, pulses, rice, wheat, lean meat and liver. It has an important role in fatty acid metabolism and cellular respiration. Deficiency causes pellagra and excessive amounts can lead to flushing and pepic ulcers. The recommended daily intake of niacin is 19 mg.
