Definition: Urinary incontinence is the loss of bladder control. It is more common in women than men. It can be a temporary or permanent condition depending on the underlying cause and is more common in women than men. It is difficult to estimate the number of men affected as it is an under reported condition, but it is probably in the region of about 5 million men in the United States.
