Question: I’m a life-long smoker, surely the damage is already done?
Answer: No. It’s never to late to quit and the best thing is your body rewards you for quitting almost immediately. For example, after just half and hour of quitting your blood pressure and heart rate begins to reduce. After just two days your sense of smell and taste begin to return and after just three days the capacity of your lungs has increased. And so it continues until you reach full health.
