Tinnitus
Tinnitus is the medical term given to the condition in which a person can hear sound in one ear, both ears or in the head, when no external sound can be heard by others. Millions of people experience tinnitis and about 90% of people with tinnitus have some level of hearing loss.
Tinnitus is more common in men than women.
