Men's brains react differently to pain

Men and women's brains respond to pain differently, researchers have found. Scans showed parts of women's brains linked to emotion were stimulated when they felt pain. Results from an unrelated study show that being snubbed socially provokes exactly the same brain response as being physically hurt.
