Men Victims of Domestic Abuse Too

When most people think of physical and/or psychological abuse they tend to think of women as the victims. Yet, over three million American men each year are the victims of abuse within their relationship. Intimate partner violence (IPV) or domestic abuse as it is more commonly known, is something that society has chosen to ignore for a long time. Less known, and much less understood, is the pattern of abuse that a significant minority of men suffer at the hands of their partner.
